In 1937 the match between Newtown and Sydney was to be played on a ground that was almost entirely under water. Each team nominated one player to represent the team on the ground, the remaining 17 on each side preferring the comfort of the dressing rooms. After 2.1 had been scored by each side/player, officials decided to call the match a draw- and both sides/players left the field!

Festival or spectacle, either way, it can be a lot of fun.  Yes, it may not be for everyone, but any member or their guest can join in next Saturday, 22 May, when KV-Karaoke comes to Adelaide Street after the senior home games against Cardiff. 

You need to register by 6.30pm (registration forms will be available during the day) and the 'show' will get under way at 7pm.  It's FREE to enter, but places are limited, so first in best dressed.
